Easley Pool (Outdoor)

  Easley facility pool.

The Easley pool is closed for the season.
We look forward to seeing you in Summer 2012.

Pool Rules:

• No running.
• No hanging or playing on ladders, ropes, or rails.
• No running and jumping into the pool.
• No diving or flipping from pool side.
• No floats as they obstruct the guard’s view of the bottom of the pool.
• No inflatable floatation devices, including, but not limited to, inflatable arm floats, inflatable circle rings, inflatable rafts, etc.  Exception: Built in floatation swim wear.
• No horseplay: dunking, sitting or standing on shoulders, or pushing others.
• Youth age 14 & under must be supervised by a parent or guardian who is over the age of 18 and inside the pool area. 
• Shower before entering the pool.
• No glass allowed within fenced pool area.
• No street clothes (shirts or shorts) allowed in the pool. 
• No chewing gum or candy while in the pool.
• No snorkels or masks that cover the nose are allowed in the pool.
• No hypoxic training (i.e. Holding your breath under water for long periods of time or intentional hyperventilation before submersion).
• No swimming in front of slides.
• Children may use lifejackets for swimming assistance if requested.  
• No throwing of any objects in pool or on pool deck.
• Small toys or objects will not be allowed in the pool area as they plug pool filters.
• No smoking allowed on YMCA property. 
• Lifeguards shall have discretionary authority to discipline children using the following as guidelines:
  -First offence:  Verbal warning
  -Second offence:  Age appropriate time out and parent consultation.
  -Third offence: Loss of pool privileges for one day, as determined by the supervisor.
• Immediate loss of pool privileges may result from the following actions (including, but not limited to)
  -Harming another child or staff member
  -Stealing
  -Damaging YMCA or others property
  -Using foul language
  -Unruly or disruptive behavior that is unable to be controlled.
  

Water Slide Rules:

• One swimmer at a time per level.
• Feet first only.
• No floatation devices of any kind allowed on slides.
• Make sure the splash zone is clear before sliding.
• Exit the splash zone in the designated direction for each slide.
