September Weekend Course
Pre-course: September 10: 7:00pm-9:00pm
September 12: 8:00am-2:00pm
September 18: 8:00am-8:00pm
September 19, 26: 8:00am-2:00pm
October 2: 8:00am-8:00pm
October 3: 8:00am-2:00pm
All Courses are Held at the Pickens Facility

Course Fees: $175
Includes books, rescue mask, certification cost and a $20 non-refundable pre-course fee.
Participation Requirements:
- At least 15 years of age by the final test date
- Pass a pre-course swimming skills test:
Swim 300 yards continuously:
4 lengths freestyle, 4 lengths breast stroke, 4 lengths freestyle or breast stroke.
Swim 20 yards and retrieve a 10lb brick
from the bottom of the pool and return carrying the brick in 1 min and 40 secs.
Upon Completion You Will Receive:
- 3 Year American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid Certification
- 1 Year American Red Cross CPR/AED for Lifeguards Certification
Additional Information:
- If you do not pass the class a refund will not be issued nor will there be discounts for the next course if you decide to retake
- Minimum of 4 participants required to hold class
