Water Fitness

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

NATIONAL ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION CLASS
A low impact class for those who have arthritis or any other joint disorders. The focus is on range of motion, stretching, and strengthening. There is a core muscle strengthening and development element just by being in the water and moving. There is also an emphasis on improving balance for carried over safety on land. This is a time to gather together, support one another, and have fun, while gently getting into shape.  Non-swimmers welcome.

SHALLOW WATER FITNESS
Provides a high-intensity workout using water resistance without the impact of traditional land classes. Exercises are performed with foam noodles and dumbbells in shallow water.  Non-swimmers welcome.

BASIC WATER FITNESS
Combination of deep and shallow exercise to maximize your water workout. Exercises are performed with foam noodles and dumbbells in both the deep and shallow water for a fun and exciting total body workout. Non-swimmers welcome.

WATER TONING
Fellowship, fun and fitness in the water while working your core.  Non-swimmers welcome. 

WATER CARDIO

An aerobic exercise class that keeps you consistently moving through the duration of class. Various types of exercises are performed to get your heart rate up with very low impact on your joints.
