Water Safety Week

April 23-27, 2018

At the Y, we believe the ability to swim is a critical life skill that every child should have the opportunity to learn. When you learn to swim, you gain confidence, acquire safety skills and experience water activities you can enjoy for a lifetime.

The YMCA of Easley, Pickens & Powdersville has partnered with Anchor Pools of Easley to offer water safety lessons to the community. The Water Safety Week program will focus on two key components: safety around water and water confidence.

Participants will also learn boat and watercraft safety and how to respond if there is a drowning emergency within natural waterfronts or recreational or community pools.

The one-hour classes are free for members of the community. Participants are limited to one registration during the week and pre-registration is required.
