Aaron Hood is the Sports Director for the YMCA of Easley, Pickens & Powdersville. He joined our team in 2025, bringing several years of experience in sports programming and community recreation.
Prior to joining the Y, Aaron played a key role with the City of Easley Parks and Recreation Department, where he helped lead and manage youth and adult sports leagues. He also served as the main point of contact for the Senior League World Series, overseeing gameday operations and ensuring a smooth and successful experience for teams and fans alike.
In his role at the YMCA, Aaron oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of sports programs across our association. His experience, attention to detail, and love for the game make him a strong leader and valuable asset to our Y community.
Aaron is passionate about using sports as a tool for growth, teamwork, and connection and he’s excited to continue building strong programs that serve kids, families, and athletes of all ages.
