John Czarnick, our new Senior Properties Director for the YMCA of Easley, Pickens & Powdersville! He joined our association in 2025, bringing with him extensive experience in facilities management through his previous roles with Prisma Health and Bon Secours.

John is part of our Executive Team and plays a vital role in overseeing the maintenance and operations of now totaling five buildings and more than 153,000 square feet. In this position, he leads the Properties staff across all branches, creating consistency and long-term strategy for how we care for our facilities.

John’s professional passion lies in maintaining safe, and welcoming spaces for members, staff, and the community. He understands that when our buildings are well cared for, they become places where lives are transformed.

Outside of the Y, John serves as a part-time firefighter with both Anderson and Pickens Counties. He and his wife MacKenzie live in the Wren area with their daughter Pyper. In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his family and serving his community.
