Suzi Thomas is the Assistant Child Development Center Director at the Brotherton CDC, part of the YMCA of Easley, Pickens & Powdersville. She joined our team in June 2025, bringing with her decades of experience in early childhood education and a deep commitment to supporting children and families.
Suzi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Southern Wesleyan University. She spent 20 years working with the School District of Pickens County and most recently served as the First Steps 4K Lead Teacher at Geer Memorial Child Development Center for seven years.
In her role, Suzi works closely with the CDC Director to support staff, nurture young learners, and help build a strong, caring environment for every child who walks through our doors. Her experience, leadership, and passion for early learning make her an invaluable asset to the Brotherton CDC team.
Suzi lives in the Upstate with her husband, Jimmy. She is excited to help lead this new center and serve the families that God brings to the YMCA through high-quality, faith-driven early education.
