Our members swim, bike, run, strength train and compete in road races, triathlons, body weight competitions, charity rides, bike events, trail runs, and Ironman events. We enjoy the training and racing because it provides motivation, a sense of accomplishment, opportunity for new friends. We help one another realize ones true potential and create an environment that allows everyone to go beyond his or her perceived limitations.

There is a place for every type of athlete. The YMCA Race Team will be a source of motivation and encouragement. You will have the opportunity to meet other like minded folks who will push you, inspire you, and encourage you. We seek out race discounts for our team. We have a friendly competition to compete for age group awards at the end of our racing year. As you participate in races, you report your results online. You will receive points for completing races, and you will receive bonus points according to how well you do in each race. At the end of the year, points are calculated and awards are presented at the banquet. The race results are posted online and updated monthly at each Y location.
