Sarah Nix began working at the Pickens YMCA when she was 18, during her senior year of high school, and have had the opportunity to work in nearly every department since.
Her passion for the Y’s mission has only grown over the years, and she truly enjoys building meaningful relationships with the members and learning their stories. Helping others is something that brings her great fulfillment.
She is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management at Western Carolina University, and she plans to continue her education by earning a graduate degree in Project Management. Outside of work and school, she loves attending concerts, going on weekend trips, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
She is deeply grateful for the friendships she’s built at the YMCA over the years and feels blessed to be part of a Christian organization that wholeheartedly supports my ministry and personal growth.
