Allie Borcherts is the Assistant Childcare Director for the YMCA of Easley, Pickens & Powdersville. She serves at the Powdersville YMCA, where she helps lead the After School and Summer Camp programs. Before returning to the Y, Allie worked in childcare at the Powdersville YMCA for six years before leaving after Summer Camp in 2025. She also grew up attending Powdersville YMCA Summer Camp and participated in the Leaders-in-Training (LIT) program.

In her role, Allie helps oversee the day-to-day operations of the After School and Summer Camp programs. She serves as a point of contact for coordinators, assists with program planning, and works to ensure children have a safe, engaging, and enriching experience each day.

Allie’s professional passion is making a lasting impact on the lives of young people. The counselors she had growing up at the YMCA inspired and encouraged her in ways that shaped who she is today, and she is committed to providing that same positive influence for the next generation of campers and students.

When Allie is out of the office, she enjoys knitting, exploring creative hobbies, reading, and relaxing with a good TV show.
