"Actively working to make my community a better place
has always been important to me."
The Pickens YMCA has a new Branch Executive, as Tiffany Mullinax has stepped in to lead the branch.
"I'm thrilled to join the Y as the new Pickens Branch Executive," Tiffany said. "I'm looking forward to building a stronger Pickens community together."
Tiffany brings extensive experience in the health and wellness industry. She comes to the Pickens YMCA from Waterstone on Augusta, where she was Director of Community Life, and she served at Wesley Commons, a faith-based non-profit, for more than a decade in the roles of Wellness Manager and Fitness Assistant.
"We are thrilled to have Tiffany join our team as the Pickens Branch Executive," said Sid Collins, CEO of the YMCA of Easley, Pickens & Powdersville. "She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in health and wellness, working with seniors, and creating new programs. She will bring new excitement to the branch and the Pickens community."
In addition to her work experience, Tiffany also brings certifications in exercise physiology, yoga, aerobics, group exercise, and barre.
She has also been active in the community during her career, serving on the Board of Directors for the Lakelands Lifelong Learning Network, participating in Leadership Greenwood and the United Way Young Leaders Society, and working with the Humane Society of Greenwood, the Alzheimer's Association and the Memory Walk Committee.
"Actively working to make my community a better place has always been important to me," Tiffany said. "I'm so happy to have that opportunity in Pickens."
