Camp Makarios is an adaptive camp that immerses campers with diverse abilities into conventional summer day camp experiences at the Powdersville YMCA. All campers participate side by side with our on-site camp in age-appropriate activities such as outdoor exploration, worship and devotions, field sports, swimming, and arts and crafts.

Who is Camp Makarios for?

• Campers must be 6 – 11 years old at the start of camp.
• Campers must be able to operate within a 1:4 staff-to-camper ratio in a small group of 8 children.
• Campers must be able to use the bathroom independently.

2026 Camp Dates:

• Session 1: Weeks of June 8-12 and June 15-19
• Session 2: Weeks of July 6-10 and July 13-17

Campers must register for a full two-week session. As space allows, campers may register for both sessions.

2026 Camp Fees:

• Registration Fee: $50 per camper
• Weekly Fees:
  • Members: $230
  • Non Members: $295

Payments will be drafted weekly on the Tuesday following the week of care.
