Beast Mode

What is Beast Mode?
Beast Mode is a group training class designed to increase strength and endurance through a variety of skills, including Olympic lifting, functional movements and high-intensity cardio. Whether you’re training for a competition or are looking to take your workouts to the next level, Beast Mode is more than a class – it’s an experience.

Who should attend Beast Mode?
Everyone! While Beast Mode is not the average group wellness class, all skill levels are welcome to participate, as the exercises and movements in Beast Mode are adaptable to all fitness levels.

What exercises are included in the Beast Mode class?
Some of the exercises you might see in Beast Mode include:

  • Olympic Lifting
  • Burpees
  • Kettlebell Swings
  • Sprints
  • Rowing
  • Box Jumps
  • Tire Flips

Where is Beast Mode held?
Beast Mode classes are held at the Powdersville YMCA and the Easley YMCA. An Intro to Beast Mode class is also held at the Pickens YMCA. Please see our Group Wellness Schedule for class times, though these functional training areas are available to members even when there is no scheduled class.
